Rules of Discipline

The institute has earned a name for quality education. This is due to the efforts and devotion of the well-qualified faculty of the institution. The academic calendar for a whole year is notified in the beginning and is strictly adhered to. Student attendance is compulsory and the shortfall is notified. It is expected of every student that he/ she should conduct himself/ herself with discipline, decency, and dignity both inside and outside the campus. The institute sends progress reports of the students to their parents periodically intending to keep them informed.


Every student should strictly follow the rules and regulation

  • 1. Students should be regular and punctual in attending classes, tutorials, and submissions of the term-work. Terms shall not be granted and a student shall not be allowed to appear for examination if his/her progress, conduct, and attendance are not satisfactory.
  • 2. Students, if found indulging in anti-national activities, contrary to the provisions of the Acts & Laws enforced by the Government will be liable to be expelled from the college without any notice by the Principal.
  • 3. Ragging of students in any form within or outside the college premises and Hostel is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be strictly dealt with as per Govt, the rules in this matter.
  • 4. Smoking, drinking (alcohol), and use of Drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises of the college and hostel.
  • 5. Bicycles, Scooters, and other vehicles should be parked only in areas provided for the purpose. The institute accepts no responsibility for their safe custody. Vehicles lodged elsewhere may be confiscated.
  • 6. Any changes in the address of the student must be intimated by him/ her in writing to the college office immediately.
  • 7. Students must use aprons while working in laboratories.
  • 8. A student must carry Identity Card signed by the Principal and produce the same whenever asked by the college Authorities. Without Identity Card, students will not be allowed to enter the college premises and will be strictly dealt with.
  • 9. In case, a student wants to remain absent for some reason, he/ she will be required to take the prior permission.
  • 10. If any of the statements made in the application form or any information supplied by the student in connection with his/ her admission is at any time later found to be false or incorrect, his/ her admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited and he/ she will be expelled from the college by the Principal and prosecuted if necessary.
  • 11. A student shall not go to the press or any other form of publicity without first obtaining permission from the principal.
  • 12. Any damage to the college property, apparatus, furniture, equipment, library books, building, etc. must be made good immediately by the student concerned.
  • 13. Students must attend Social and National Programs organized by the college such as 26th January, 15th August, and all other academic and cultural programs organized for the students.
  • 14. A student will be bound by the rules and regulations framed by the college from time to time.
  • 1. Duplicate T. C. will not be entertained.
  • 2. At the time of admission, the applicant must produce the original leaving certificate/ transfer certificate, and for the scholarship, the student must submit the original caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and income certificate.
  • 3. Students of any other University should submit a Migration certificate on or before 25 August, signed by the Registrar of the University from which he/ she migrated, and also pay the immigration fee.
  • 4. Students not already enrolled in S.G.B. Amravati University will have to pay the University enrollment fee at the time of admission.
  • 5. Students who have been admitted to a regular course of study at this university are not permitted to take any other examinations at the same time.
  • 6. No separate notification will be sent to the home address. Applicants are encouraged to review the information on the notice board.
  • 7. Students shall have to obey all the instructions of the principal. They will be held directly accountable to the principal for their overall behavior, both inside and outside of college. The names of such students found violating the rules of the college administration or behaving in an indisciplined manner will be removed from the college rolls. It will be presumed on admission that the students concerned and their parents and guardians have read and are concerned with these rules.
  All students are required to wear the prescribed uniform and have a college identity card when attending college.
  Free Ships, Scholarships are available to B.C., Minority, and E.B.C. Students, stipend is also paid to eligible P.G. students as per the Govt. Norms.
